POGGE TO THE DUCKS
Justin Pogge
The Anaheim Ducks acquired goaltender Justin Pogge from the Toronto Maple Leafs for a conditional draft pick in 2010.

What does it give the Anaheim Ducks?
The Ducks have two very capable netminders in Jonas Hiller and J-S Giguere, but Pogge adds nice depth. There won't be any pressure to perform for a while in the Ducks organization, so Pogge may surprise.

What does it give the Toronto Maple Leafs?
The Leafs have turned the page on Pogge with this move. Clearly, the organization wasn't sold on his long-range starting potential. Instead, they signed Swedish free agent Jonas Gustavsson to be their future 'tender. The conditional pick will likely be determined by Pogge's 2009-10 performance.
