2009/11/20: It appears as though Semyon Varlamov will get the nod in goal for Washington on Friday. He was the first goalie off the ice at practice on Friday morning. It is also uncertain if Jose Theodore will be able to play in the next few games for the Capitals. Coach Bruce Boudreau said the team is considering the notion of starting Michal Neuvirth if Theodore is unable to play. We will keep you posted. (Source: Capitals Insider) |

2009/11/19: Shaone Morrison is out with an undisclosed injury. The Washington blueliner is questionable for Friday's game against Montreal. While Morrisonn does contribute in penalty minutes with 27 in 20 games, his three assists and minus-three rating makes him almost valueless in fantasy hockey. (Source: Washington Post) |
