PLAYER NEWS

Mark Eaton, D
2009/11/20:  Mark Eaton (back) was able to play in Thursday's game against Ottawa. He was listed as questionable prior to the contest due to back spams. However, he skated for 22:35 of ice time in Pittsburgh's 6-2 loss to the Senators, while finishing with a minus-1 rating. Pittsburgh defense has been devastated by injury, so having Eaton in the lineup was some good news for them. (Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)
Brooks Orpik, D
2009/11/20:  Brooks Orpik (lower body) may return to the lineup Saturday. If he doesn't return Saturday, then he'll definitely be in the lineup Monday. Get ready to activate him if you normally would. (Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)
Marc-Andre Fleury, G
2009/11/19:  Marc-Andre Fleury allowed five goals on 24 shots in a 6-2 loss to Ottawa on Thursday night. He got the hook in the third period and Brent Johnson made six stops on seven shots in relief. Fleury has been ice cold of late, losing five of his past six games. His record has fallen to 11-7-0 on the year as a result.
Evgeni Malkin, C/RW
2009/11/19:  Evgeni Malkin scored his fifth goal of the season in a 6-2 loss to the Senators on Thursday. Malkin has posted four points in two games since coming back to the Pittsburgh lineup after a shoulder injury. Jordan Staal scored the Penguins' other marker in the defeat.
