PLAYER NEWS

Chris Drury, C/RW
2009/11/19:  Chris Drury (concussion) is starting to feel better as he has had a few good days in a row. Drury suffered the concussion 12 days ago, so he is recovering pretty quickly. He will see a doctor and then they will decide if Drury is able to start training. Stay tuned. (Source: New York Daily News)
Ales Kotalik, LW/RW
2009/11/19:  Ales Kotalik is now playing on the top line with the Rangers. He joins Marian Gaborik and Vaclav Prospal as Enver Lisin, who had gone the last eight games without a point, moves down to the second line with Christopher Higgins and Pierre Parenteau. The bottom two lines in practice were Sean Avery, Artem Anisimov and Ryan Callahan; Donald Brashear, Brian Boyle and Aaron Voros. Kotalik gets a boost in fantasy value and Lisin's drops, although with no points in eight games, his value wasn't high anyway.
Marian Gaborik, RW
2009/11/17:  Marian Gaborik scored twice in the Rangers' 4-2 loss to the Caps Tuesday Night. Gaborik now has 15 goals on the year, tied for the league lead with Alex Ovechkin. The Rangers got assists from Sean Avery, P.A. Parenteau, Daniel Girardi, and Marc Staal.
Henrik Lundqvist, G
2009/11/17:  Henrik Lundqvist took the loss, allowing three goals, in the Rangers' 4-2 loss to the Capitals Tuesday night. Lundqvist played well, setting aside 22 shots against a fiery Caps offense that just got Alex Ovechkin back. Lundqvist saw his record drop to 9-7-1.
