PLAYER NEWS

John-Michael Liles, D
2009/11/20:  John-Michael Liles (shoulder) and T.J. Galiardi (ankle) are probable for Friday's game in Vancouver. Both players should be in the lineup on Friday. Liles was hurt on October 13th against Toronto and it was thought that he would miss two weeks at most, but it is going on five weeks so the injury was more serious than originally thought. Watch him play a game or two before activating the defenseman to make sure that his shoulder is fine. (Source: Denver Post)
Adam Foote, D
2009/11/20:  Adam Foote (jaw) is doubtful for Friday's game against Vancouver. Foote did not practice on Thursday and it looks like he'll miss his second straight game. Foote used to be a fantasy factor but at age 38, he is just a solid defensive defenseman at this time. (Source: Denver Post)
Ryan Wilson, D
2009/11/20:  Ryan Wilson will find out on Friday if he will be suspended for his hit on Ethan Moreau on Wednesday. Wilson caught Moreau with his head down as he left his feet and stuck his elbow and shoulder into the face of Moreau. While Wilson thought it was a clean hit, the Oilers disagreed. The NHL is trying to do something about hits to the head and Wilson will find out on Friday how serious the league is. There was no penalty called on Wilson. (Source: Denver Post)
Ryan O'Reilly, C
2009/11/19:  Rookie Ryan O'Reilly struggled on Wednesday as he was minus-three in a 6-4 loss to Edmonton. O'Reilly was due for a bad game but the second round choice still is an outstanding plus-nine to go with his 15 points in 22 games. The Avs love their 18-year-old winger and he will be a mainstay on the team for years to come. He will garner serious Calder Trophy consideration if he continues his outstanding play the rest of the season. He is worth a pickup in deeper fantasy pools at this time. (Source: Denver Post)
