Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville thinks it's important for the Blackhawks to build momentum early in Saturday's game.
"One game can turn everything around," Quenneville said. "That's what we're looking for. The big picture looks bleak but we have two home games here; one at a time. Getting off to a big start is what we're looking for." Chicago is down 3-1 in their series and Detroit seems to have plenty of momentum heading into this game.

Jonathan Toews doesn't think the Blackhawks should feel down after losing three games in a row to Detroit.
"Obviously we're not where we want to be in the series but feeling sorry for ourselves isn't going to do anything," Toews said. "We have a positive group of guys. We've had a great season all year for that reason. We're going to stick to what helps us win hockey games, going to focus on tomorrow night, and that's it." Toews hasn't scored yet in the playoffs and obviously Game 5 on Saturday would be a great time for him to end that slump from Chicago's perspective.

Seidenberg remains questionable for Game 5 on Saturday. "Nobody likes watching games, especially this time of year," Seidenberg said. "I felt comfortable out there.I have to talk to them first. And go from there." He hasn't played yet in the second round.

GM Don Maloney has agreed to a long-term contract extension with the Phoenix Coyotes.

Although the team missed the playoffs in the shortened season, the Coyotes made it to the Western Conference finals for the first time in their franchise's history in 2012.
