ImpactPearson went undrafted in 2011, but exploded for 91 points in 60 games during the 2011-12 OHL season and was selected at the end of the first round in 2012. The late bloomer had a productive season in the AHL this season with Manchester, amassing 32 points in 41 games, and clicked with fellow youngster Tyler Toffoli and veteran Jeff Carter on a superb second line during the playoffs. Pearson notched 12 points in 24 games during the post-season, and has the skills, speed, soft hands and drive to be a productive forward down the road.
