ImpactCollberg has three goals and nine points in 40 games in the Swedish league this season. He was taken with the 33rd overall pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

NewsSebastian Collberg has been sent back to Frolunda of the Swedish Hockey League.
ImpactHe had nine points in 35 games overseas last season and appeared in two games with the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs.

NewsSebastian Collberg will play in the NHL or return to Sweden for another year.
ImpactHe still has one more year on his contract overseas, so the Canadiens are giving him an extended look before making a decision. Collberg also missed the first couple of days of training camp because of a knee injury.

NewsSebastian Collberg is only able to do off-ice workouts after suffering a knee injury in August practicing with the Swedish junior squad.
ImpactCollberg was selected in the second round, 33rd overall, in the 2012 Draft and spent last season with Frolunda of the Swedish Elite League where he had six goals and nine points in 35 games before signing his entry level contract with Montreal in the off-season. Collberg is a goal scorer with a very quick release and explosive shot. If he is unable to make the Habs out of training camp he will return to Sweden for another season, which seems likely at this time.

NewsSebastian Collberg signed a three-year contract with the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday.
ImpactIn 35 games with Frolunda of the Swedish Elite League this past season, he notched six goals and nine points. He also appeared in 15 games with Orebro HK in Sweden's second division (HockeyAllsvenskan), where he had eight points. Collberg concluded the year with two games in Hamilton of the AHL. He was taken with the 33rd overall pick in the 2012 draft by Montreal.
