NewsCody Ceci continues to impress the Ottawa coaching staff.
ImpactNot only has the rookie rearguard provided some offense from the blueline, he has also been a very steady player when the other team has the puck. Most impressive has been Ceci's ability to rush with the puck. "You keep waiting for him [Ceci] to fall off and fall off, but he hasn't to this point," said Ottawa coach Paul MacLean. "He's been a very good player for us, and a steady player for us, and part of the reason we're having the success we're having now is because of that steadiness on our back end. And we're getting better at getting out of our zone, and getting better at not turning over as many pucks, and Cody is part of that." If you are in a deep keeper pool it might be time to grab Ceci before it is too late.
