ImpactHe may head overseas because Ottawa reportedly isn't prepared to give him a one-way contract. He's set to become a restricted free agent in July. Da Costa spent most of the 2013-14 campaign in the minors with Binghamton, where he tallied 18 goals and 58 points in 56 matches.

ImpactCanada has only ever lost to France once before and that came in 1995. Stephane Da Costa was the hero for the French, scoring two power-play goals in regulation. Cristobal Huet turned aside 34 shots to earn the win.
