NewsDana Tyrell was forced to evacuate his home Thursday night ahead of the major flooding, which impact several communities in southern Alberta.

Impact"My condo is right next to the Saddledome," Tyrell said. "It's crazy. I've never seen anything like it." The Saddledome reportedly had water filled up to the 10th row of seats. Tyrell said his condo, which sits on the 17th floor, won't be damaged by the flooding, but for now he has to live with his parents in Airdrie, Alberta because "everything is shut down."

ImpactHe sat out the first two games as a healthy scratch, but skated on the fourth line with Adam Hall and B.J. Crombeen against Carolina. It was Tyrell's first NHL game since he underwent surgery last spring to repair a torn ACL in his right knee.
