Jesse Joensuu made his NHL playoff debut Thursday in Game 5.
He recorded one shot and played just 8:26 of ice time in the Islanders' 4-0 loss to Pittsburgh. David Ullstrom came out of the lineup to give Joensuu an opportunity to play.

The New York Islanders have activated Jesse Joensuu, who hasn't played this season because of a sports hernia injury, from injured reserve.
His suspension has also been lifted and he's now listed on the team's active roster.

It's the first time Joensuu skated with the team since he underwent surgery in late January. However, we imagine he'll need a few practices before returning to the lineup. Joensuu doesn't have a ton of fantasy value and should remain on waivers in most formats until he proves otherwise.
