ImpactJoensuu has been out of the lineup since mid-October with a lower back issue. He's only been able to dress in four games for the Oilers this season. "I feel good, this is the best I've felt so far on the ice," Joensuu said Friday. "I don't know if it's confirmed yet, but I sure want to play. I need a challenge in my life. I'm tired of working out and doing these movement (exercises) in the gym." Acquired from the New York Islanders this off-season, Joensuu had an impressive training camp for the Oilers. He brings the team much needed size and grit to their bottom two lines. "We missed his size, he competes extremely hard," Edmonton coach Dallas Eakins said. "He goes to the net hard. We have to keep trying to find an element of heaviness in our game and he provides that. Once he is healed and we hope that is very soon, if not by (Saturday). Hopefully we can keep him healthy."
