ImpactThe Swedes become the first team to win the title on home ice since the Soviet Union in 1986 and Enroth captured the Best Goalkeeper in the tournament honor for his efforts. His play under pressure should be a positive sign for the Sabres, who may trade starter Ryan Miller in the off-season.

All told, he made 35 saves, so this loss wasn't all his fault.

ImpactMiller had been expected to start but the infection news came after the team's morning skate. Enroth hasn't played since leaving a March 7 game against the Rangers with cramping. He had been playing very well before leaving, although the Rangers look much better than they have in recent nights. Enroth has posted a 3.47 goals-against average and an .898 save percentage during that span. "It's been a long time," he said. "I still think I can play in this league.
