NewsAl Montoya is eligible for unrestricted free agency unless the Winnipeg Jets choose to bring him back.
ImpactHe played with the team on a one-year deal this past campaign and dealt with a pair of groin injuries. In seven appearances, he posted a 3-1-0 record with an .899 save percentage, a 2.91 goals-against average and one shutout. If the Jets don't re-sign him then they will have to find another backup goalie for Ondrej Pavelec.
