"Going into a period, you want to have momentum from the end of the period. That was a tough goal by them. Then a quick turnaround gave us the momentum going into intermission."

He got struck by a stick in his eye last week but seems to have substantially recovered. Paille is awaiting medical clearance to return, and it is likely he will get it sometime Saturday afternoon.

Although it was initially thought that Paille had an eye injury, the Bruins are hesitant to classify it at this time. "We're going to deem it an upper-body injury, only for the reason that right now, we don't have all the details," Bruins coach Claude Julien said. "We know he got the high stick, right? Once we get more clarification on his injury, we'll let you know." It's worth noting that Paille has dealt with concussion problems in the past.
