ImpactSweden now gets the easiest path to the gold medal game on paper, but in reality its a very tough road. The 2006 gold medalists will face the winner of Austria - Slovenia in the quarterfinals, and very likely Finland or Russia in the semis. Canada and Team USA also won each of their three preliminary games, but since Finland took Canada to overtime and Russia took the U.S. to a shootout, the two North American squads only tallied eight points.
