Detroit had a tough seven game series with Anaheim and the extra travel to the West Coast did not help. Detroit played like they were in a fog according to Henrik Zetterberg. "That's how it felt like, we were there but we weren't really there," the captain said. "It's nice to have a few extra days here and we feel we're ready to go." Despite his slow start last campaign, Zetterberg ended up with a team-leading 69 points over 82 contests, which was thanks to a 34-point outburst in the final 30 matches of the regular season. He should be good for at least 40 points this season.
