After skating Wednesday and Thursday with other injured players, Sedin joined the main group at Friday's practice and showed no ill effects. "It wasn't a big deal for us," said Henrik. "We came out as a new team. We got some new lines rolling and got some energy from that." Much like they are on the ice, the brothers are a package deal off it and appear likely to play together the rest of their careers, be it in Vancouver, their native Sweden or another NHL city. One thing's for sure, the Sedin twins will not come cheap.

ImpactSedin has nine goals and 31 points in 34 games this season. He's just outside of the top-20 in the NHL points race. Not scoring my first goal Saturday was my biggest disappointment and I'm just going to focus on (brother) Danny behind me." Sedin has eight assists and no goals this season in 11 games.

H. Sedin off to decent, but uninspired start | 02/02/2013 5:40 PM
NewsHenrik Sedin has five assists in eight games this season.
ImpactThat's not exactly a thrilling start for the former Art Ross and Hart Trophy winner. Still, Sedin is one of the best skill forwards in the game and his production should improve as the season goes on. Look for him to finish the shortened season with about a point-per-game.
