Brunner displayed chemistry with Zetterberg during their time with Zug in the Swiss League and it will be very interesting to see how he transitions to the NHL. Babcock said that the wingers could rotate on his top two lines, but Brunner stands an excellent chance of making his first year in North America a memorable one and he has great potential as a sleeper.

After playing on a line with Damien Brunner in Switzerland during the lockout, Henrik Zetterberg is looking forward to play with him in Detroit.
Brunner had 25 goals and 57 points in 33 Swiss games during the lockout. "He's obviously a goal scorer, but he has more qualities than that," Zetterberg said. "He's a good skater and he sees the ice very well and he wants to win. He hates losing, and that's a good quality to have. We had a good team and the line we played with had good chemistry. It was a chance to play a lot of minutes, it was fun." Keep an eye on the Red Wings during training camp as Brunner should have some fantasy value if he ends up on a line with Zetterberg.
