Saad was drafted 43rd overall in the 2011 Draft, a draft that many thought you could get just as good a player in the 45th slot as you could 10th overall. Well, Saad is certainly proving that statement correct as he lines up on the top line with Jonathan Toews. He deserves to be in the conversation for the Calder Trophy and based on his play of late should be in someone's fantasy lineup at this time.

"He's hungry, he's playing hard and playing fearless," Toews said. "He's showing he's gaining confidence with the puck. With Hoss and I, we're getting better and better as a line. We're keeping the puck down low more, and Saader is showing his work ethic. He's hungry for that first one. We keep working as a line, he's going to get it and we're going to get it going as well." Saad was taken in the second round, 43rd overall in the 2011 Draft but has shown that he should have been a first round pick since then. He is worth selecting in keeper leagues.
