NewsBrian Dumoulin is week-to-week with a leg injury suffered on January 31 in the minors.
ImpactDumoulin has played in six NHL games this season as the Penguins had a slew of injuries on the blueline but he has struggled in the minors. He will not be recalled unless the Penguins run into similar problems as occurred in December when five regulars were out of action.

ImpactThe defenseman was recalled early in the week when Brooks Orpik was injured and got into the lineup due to the injury to Kris Letang. He saw 18:10 minutes of action as the Penguins were down to five defensemen when Deryk Engelland was thrown out of the game with a match penalty. He has no fantasy value.

ImpactDumoulin was recalled when the Penguins placed defenseman Brooks Orpik on the injured reserve list. The Penguins are hurting on the blueline with Orpik joining Rob Scuderi and Paul Martin on the sidelines. Dumoulin had a goal and six points with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL this season. He has no fantasy value.
