Jean-Francois Berube playing well in minors | 04/20/2014 8:08 AM
NewsGoaltender Jean-Francois Berube has been playing well for the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL.
ImpactBerube was promoted to the top job in Manchester when Martin Jones was recalled by the Kings when Ben Scrivens was dealt away to Edmonton. "As soon as Jonesie was out of the picture, you could just see his confidence coming leaps and bounds,"coach Mark Morris said. "I think he's really relished that opportunity. When you know that, you have to be feeling the pressure that you're basically holding the team on your back and that's a big pressure for a young guy his age." Berube was 28-17-2 this season in Manchester with a 2.37 GAA and a .913 save percentage.
