ImpactThe Flames sent Shane O'Brien to the minors and want to see what the mammoth Breen can do over the last 30 games of the season. "Once Kris Russell got healthy and once we got Chris Breen playing big minutes in Abby (the Flames AHL affiliate in Abbotsford BC), our plan was to go with the younger kids," president of hockey operations and acting GM Brian Burke said. "Players (O'Brien's) age are not likely going to be here when we have this thing where we want it. We have to find out about Chris Breen. Can he play? Can he not play? He hasn't been given a fair opportunity, mainly because of injury. We're going to find out now." Breen had no points in five games earlier this season with Calgary. He has no fantasy value at this time.
