|Assets:||Is mobile, solid offensively (especially at lower levels) and a sound puck-moving blueliner from his own end. Displays good hockey sense, too.|
|Flaws:||Due to his significant lack of size and strength, it will always be an uphill battle for him just to stick at the National Hockey league level.|
|Career Potential:||Diminutive puck-moving defenseman with a little upside.|

David Warsofsky hopes to get NHL action | 09/18/2013 6:39 AM
NewsDavid Warsofsky is hoping to get himself involved in the conversation to play on Boston's back end this season.
ImpactHe plays a similar game to Torey Krug and is looking to earn his way onto the roster at training camp. "(Krug) and I are kind of battling for the same position," said Warsofsky. "But at the same time, we played together all last year (for Providence of the AHL) so it was good to see him go up and be successful. But it is a competition. That's why I'm trying to prove myself. On any team, in any organization, there's always people who want to take the next step and take away somebody's job." It's likely that Warsofsky remains in the minors this season.
