ImpactHe split time between the AHL and the ECHL last season. In 21 games with Greenville, he had a 14-6-1 record with a .919 save percentage and a 2.76 goals-against average. He's far down the Rangers' depth chart in terms of goaltending options.

NewsJason Missiaen was called up to the New York Rangers ahead of the Stanley Cup Final and is currently third on the goaltending depth chart after Henrik Lundqvist and David LeNeveu.
ImpactThe Rangers' regular backup, Cam Talbot, is out with an injury, which means LeNeveu will dress as the backup for Game 1 in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Missiaen, a fourth round draft pick from 2008, has no NHL experience and it is highly unlikely he will get the chance to dress. Nonetheless, this is a pretty cool opportunity for the prospect, who went 2-11 for Hartford in the AHL this season with a 3.83 goals against average and .864 save percentage.
