ImpactAnisimov suffered the injury when he was struck on Saturday by Charlie Coyle who will not receive any discipline from the NHL as it was deemed that Coyle did not target Anisimov's head. There is obvious concern that Anisimov has suffered a concussion but we will have to wait on that. Look elsewhere for a center as there are only two weeks left in the NHL schedule and it appears unlikely that Anisimov will return.

ImpactAnisimov collected 30 points in 36 games, giving him a good chance to hit the ground running. That's a promising premise because roles should be wide-open in Columbus after the Rick Nash trade. It's quite possible he'll get a little more room to show off his skills than he did with the New York Rangers.
