NewsThe Washington Capitals were upset with Derek Dorsett after Game 6 because they feel he slew-footed Mike Green in the third period.
ImpactGreen was assessed a penalty for cross-checking Dorsett in retaliation, which angered the Capitals. "That play to me is the one that does concern me because it looked like a slew-foot to me and obviously that's why Mike reacted," coach Adam Oates said. "Mike's not that type of player, and you're watching it. To me it looks like a slew-foot. Very dangerous play. Greenie's one of those guys that they want to target, but to me, that's a very dangerous play."

"I'll go for another X-ray I imagine sometime next week and we'll see how it's healing and hopefully do some contact stuff," Dorsett said. "I think as soon as the docs feel the X-rays are cleared up and look solid and I'm not going to re-hurt it, that's what I'm waiting for, the clearance. I don't know how (the shoulder) would handle it now. I don't know how it will handle it in a week."

ImpactDorsett is out for the rest of the regular season after being injured on March 7, but could be back for the playoffs should the Rangers make the post-season. He is a very tough bottom-six forward who will add grit to the Rangers lineup and can also put the puck in the net as he had 12 goals, 20 points last season to go with 225 penalty minutes. He had nine points and 53 penalty minutes in 24 games this season.

At one point, his fingers were down in my mouth. If ... if ... and this is a big if ... if I bit down, I didn't intentionally bite down. Obviously, he's trying to make this a big deal.
