ImpactHow good was Letang this season? He tied for the league lead in points by a defenseman with 38 despite playing seven fewer games than fellow Norris finalist P.K. Subban. While Paul Martin might have been the better overall defender for the Penguins, Letang was basically this season's version of Erik Karlsson, which might be a hard thing to overcome when the winner is announced at the NHL awards show in June.
