NewsAnze Kopitar admitted after the playoffs that he was not one of many players nursing an injury during the postseason.
ImpactKopitar's disappointing playoff performance led many to speculate the Slovenian forward might not have been playing at full health, but those suggestions were dismissed. "And [in regards to] being injured during this playoffs, there was really no significant injury that I suffered. It's normal being just banged up a little bit - a few bumps and bruises, but that's about it." While this should be encouraging news, it might have been more comforting for his fantasy owners to learn that he had been hindered by an ailment as that would have at least explained the disappointing results.

NewsAnze Kopitar broke out of a four game pointless streak with a goal and an assist Saturday.
ImpactUnfortunately it was not enough as the Kings dropped Game 5 and the series to Chicago. Kopitar had a tough time offensively in the playoffs as he scored only three goals while adding six assists in 18 games after scoring 10 goals and 42 points in 47 regular season games. He will be selected high in most pools next season and deservedly so.
