Rostislav Olesz has been assigned to the minors by Chicago.
He has suited up in a game yet with the Blackhawks this season because of a knee injury. He will attempt to work his way back into game shape in the AHL, but it's not clear if he'll get a big-league shot this year.

Olesz hasn't played this season due to a knee injury. He has 57 goals and 132 points in 355 career NHL games.

Olesz was sent to the minors on November 17, 2011 and suffered a serious knee injury in April, serious enough to keep him off the ice until now. There is no guarantee that Olesz will return to the Blackhawks once healthy and the Blackhawks NHL website actually lists him in the farm system. "Olesz is not really that close to playing yet," GM Stan Bowman said. "He had the surgery (in April), but it was a reconstruction of the knee and as a result it just takes time to get it to 100 percent. When he is 100 percent healthy, we'll see where he's at with (roster) numbers. We've had injuries and I certainly hope we stay healthy, but once he's medically ready to play, then we'll see where our roster is at and we'll figure it out." Stay tuned but he is not worth a roster spot even in the deepest of leagues.
