Jason Jaffray was signed to a two-way contract by the Jets on Wednesday.

He played most of the 2011-12 campaign in the minors with St. John's, but he also skated in 13 games with Winnipeg. Jaffray, who had been playing on an AHL-only deal was also put on waivers for the purpose of keeping him with the IceCaps.
