Glencross, 30, is pleased about that although he admits he's bracing himself for some tough times with the listless Flames. It's tough," Glencross conceded. "I'm the kind of guy too that I wear my emotion on my face quite a bit. When I get frustrated, I'm not scared to yell once in a while on the bench or that kind of stuff."

It's not we can do anything about. Obviously, it sucks losing players on your team - and leaders - but it's one of them things that . . . and there's nothing we can do about it." Glencross hopes to become more consistent | 01/16/2013 9:29 AM
NewsCurtis Glencross is hoping to become more consistent this season.
Impact"Every player has stretches where they have a little lull in their game. The next part is . . . to try to get over that," Glencross said. He enjoyed a seven-contest and four-game goal scoring streak in 2011-12, but also went through lukewarm patches. The end result was 26 goals in 67 games. It's not unusual for a player to go through hot-and-cold patches when it comes to goal scoring and the only thing that really set him apart was just how hot he was during his best period of the campaign. Look for Glencross to get about 10-15 goals in the shortened season, but for what it's worth, he's aiming for 20.
