ImpactHe opened the scoring in the contest on a slap shot late in the first period. Boychuk had a rough game against Philadelphia on Sunday when he finished with a minus-3 rating, so scoring a goal was a decent way to rebound. He has 22 points and a plus-30 rating on the year.

ImpactHis last goal came on Nov. 18 at Carolina. Boychuk has recorded 12 points and a plus-14 rating in 38 contests. He can also contribute in hits and blocks categories. The Bruins have given him some extra ice time because of Dennis Seidenberg's season-ending injury, but Boychuk should only be considered in deeper leagues or ones that have several defense-oriented categories.

NewsThe Bruins aren't concerned with the potential blizzard ruining their plans for this weekend.
ImpactThey are supposed to host the Lightning at 1 p.m. Saturday, then fly to New York to play the Sabres for Saturday night. "It's hockey weather," said Johnny Boychuk. "With our schedule the way it is this year, they're going to have to play it, I would think. Getting to the rink, most of us live right around there, so it's not too bad for the game. Hopefully, we can get out to Buffalo after our game, but we'll worry about that after the game." For those in leagues with daily lineup changes, keep an eye on Rotoworld for the status of this game.
