2010/02/03:  Matt Beleskey has been summoned from the minors by the Ducks. He was sent down on Monday to make room for Teemu Selanne's return, but earned a call-up after Anaheim assigned defenseman Nick Boynton to the minors. (Source: Ducks Blog)
2010/02/02:  Matt Beleskey was assigned to the minors on Monday. His demotion freed a roster spot to allow Teemu Selanne to return to the lineup in Monday's 3-0 win over Florida. Beleskey has nine points in 34 games this season. (Source: Ducks Blog)
2010/01/17:  Matt Beleskey and Petteri Nokelainen are expected to get more ice time with the Ducks' latest injuries to Finnish forwards Teemu Selanne (broken jaw) and Saku Koivu (knee). Both players could end up playing more during even strength situations as well as on the second power-play unit. Coach Randy Carlyle did not go further into his plans for line combintations, but a better picture could come following Sunday's pre-game skate. Stay tuned. (Source: Orange County Register)
2010/01/09:  Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and an assist in Anaheim's 3-2 win over Nashville Saturday night. Getzlaf upped his point total to 44. The other Anaheim goals came from Teemu Selanne and Matt Beleskey.
2010/01/09:  Teemu Selanne (hand) is likely to play on Saturday against Nashville. Selanne has missed the last 16 games with a broken hand. He practiced on the second line, alongside Dan Sexton and Bobby Ryan on Friday. If this is the case on Saturday, it's great news for Matt Beleskey, as he will remain on the top unit with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry. It's good news for Selanne owners as it appears it is finally time to activate him. He will return to his regular spot on the first power play as well. (Source: Orange County Register)
2010/01/07:  Matt Beleskey will be moved off the top line with the return to the lineup of Teemu Selanne. Beleskey played with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry on Tuesday and scored the first goal of his NHL career in the process. But Selanne is likely to return on Thursday after missing five weeks with a broken hand and Beleskey will move back to a bottom-six forward. (Source: Orange County Register)
2010/01/06:  Corey Perry scored his 17th of the season leading the Ducks over the Red Wings 4-1 Tuesday night. Perhaps Perry is finally coming out of his recent funk. Matt Beleskey scored his first career goal while Saku Koivu and Kyle Chipchura also found the back of the net.
2009/12/24:  Saku Koivu finished at a minus-3 in a loss to the Phoenix Coyotes 4-0 Wednesday evening Dan Sexton also finished at a minus-3 against the Desert Dogs. Matt Beleskey led the team with only three shots.
2009/12/09:  George Parros was a healthy scratch on Tuesday night. It was the first game the Anaheim tough guy has missed this season. Coach Randy Carlyle decided to ice a fourth line of Matt Beleskey, Mike Brown and Kyle Chipchura instead. Parros has one goal and 68 penalty minutes in 29 contests. (Source: Orange County Register)
2009/11/29:  The Ducks recalled Matt Beleskey from the minors. He will replace the injured Kyle Calder on the roster. Beleskey has seven points in 15 AHL games this season and was held pointless in three earlier games with Anaheim. (Source: Orange County Register)
2009/11/18:  The Anaheim Ducks have reassigned three minor-leaguers to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL. Matt Beleskey, Troy Bodie and defenseman Brett Festerling were playing in San Antonio, but have since been moved to Toronto as the Ducks were not happy with their roles on the Coyotes' minor-league team. (Source: Orange County Register)
2009/10/24:  The Anaheim Ducks have recalled Matt Beleskey from San Antonio of the AHL. Beleskey will play on the third line Saturday with Petteri Nokelainen and Todd Marchant. Beleskey had a goal and a couple of helpers in eight games this season with San Antonio, in addition to 15 penalty minutes. Beleskey, 21, knows where the net is as he had 41 goals and 90 points for Belleville of the OHL two seasons ago, but the Ducks will be happy if he can shut down the opposition during his short stint in the NHL. 2009/09/20:  Anaheim has sent down three more players to the minors. Wingers Matt Beleskey and Dan Sexton, as well as goaltender Timo Pielmeier were assigned to San Antonio of the AHL on Sunday. (Source: Ducks Blog)
