Based on the New York Rangers' morning skate, it looks like Brad Richards will probably be a healthy scratch again on Saturday.
Richards skated with the scratches rather than participate in the Rangers' main practice. Something could still change, but it looks like the Rangers will go with the same lineup that won them Game 4.

Athletic trainer Dan Redmond has been fired by the Nashville Predators.
Redmond had been with the Predators since their 1998-99 inaugural season. Before that he had worked with coach Barry Trotz for five campaigns with the AHL Portland Pirates. Nashville also recently fired associate coach Peter Horachek and replaced him with Phil Housley.

Ilari Melart has agreed to a one-year deal with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed, but it is an entry-level contract. Melart had 18 points and 80 penalty minutes in 50 SM-liiga games last season. He's 24 and hasn't played professionally in North America before.

The 2013 NHL Award winners will be announced on during the Stanley Cup finals.
Usually they're revealed in Las Vegas during an award show, but with the conclusion of the playoffs pushed back due to the lockout, this year will be different. The awards show will run from 7-8 p.m. ET on the day of Game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals. It will be for the Ted Lindsay Award along with the Vezina, Hart, Calder, Norris trophies. The day before that, the NHL will present the other awards at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Logan Couture hated the way the Sharks played with the man advantage on Thursday.
"The power play was brutal," Couture said. "Passes weren't on, guys weren't shooting pucks, breakout was off, timing was off. There's 25 things that were wrong." The Sharks went 0-for-3 on the power play and suffered a 3-0 loss. They have to win Game 6 on Sunday to force a Game 7.
